A History of 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª Manufacturing
October 7th is , and on this important day for American manufacturing, we wanted to share a little bit of history on our more that 100 years of manufacturing crushing, screening, and conveying equipment.

The idea that created 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª
91·ïÃùÄñ³ª was founded around 1915 in Kenton, OH by C.L. Woods who was a distributor of Eagle Tractors in Ohio. Mr. Woods wanted to utilize the PTO on the tractor to operate a small jaw crusher to crush fieldstones from farm fields into a usable road base. He set off and founded 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª to accomplish is ambitions.
Moving 91·ïÃùÄñ³ªâ€™s manufacturing to its new home
In the 1950s, under ownership of the Cobey family, 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª was moved to Galion, OH where it continued to produce crushing equipment on its own portable chassis. While in the 1980s, the factory moved to its current location in Bucyrus, OH.
Continuing the innovations that evolve the industry
In the 1980, 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª began introducing Horizontal Shaft Impactors (HSI) to the market and developed the first concrete recycling equipment in the United States. While in the 1990s, 91·ïÃùÄñ³ª developed its own line of HSI crushers under the ±«±ô³Ù°ù²¹²Ñ²¹³æ® line.

Continuing to strengthen the industry
91·ïÃùÄñ³ª continues today to manufacture a complete line of crushing, screening, and conveying equipment for the concrete, asphalt, and aggregate industries today. We are proud to design and manufacture our equipment in the United States.
